Tri-State On30 Module Mini Meet

March 29, 2008

Welcome to the Tri-State On30 Module group's first Mini Meet. With the Mid-Hudson On30 Meet and the Kimberton module meet fast approaching, we decided to get together to set up our modules and work out the kinks.

We met at the Cypress Hills/Fulton St. Senior Center in Brooklyn, NY. Getting set up was pretty easy, as the parking lot adjoined the room we used. The room was large and we had plenty of room.

Bob Robbins came down from upstate New York with his two 2' x 6' modules. Dave Camisa and his dad Joe came from Flushing, NY with two 2' x 4' modules and I brought my two 2' x 4' modules. Wes White joined us from New Jersey and gave a hand with set up, trouble shooting, operations and take down.

So without further ado, here are some photos of our setup.

Bob's modules were at one end and feature a sawmill.

My modules, a modified Timesaver, were in the middle.

Dave's terminal modules were at the other end.

Next up for our group is setups at the Mid-Hudson On30 Meet on May 2 & 3. Then comes the big one, the Kimberton Module Meet on May 16-18. We hope to see you all at these meets. Stop by our module setup and say "hello."

If you live in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut or elsewhere (we have a member located in Texas!) and are interested in joining our group, stop by the Tri-State On30 Module group's Yahoo group site. Everyone is welcome!
